Spent 2 more weeks in hospital. Had a stroke. Boy, didn't see that coming. Speech affected but not much else. Godcome thru 4 me. Again.

In 2003 I went through 13 surgeries. I developed an imfection in 7 of those.

I am a lesbian who has been with my patient, loving, incredable partner Vee for 10 yrs. I am a retired professional artist who now paints and woodcarves for pleasure. I love reading, mathmatics (I am right & left brained), the arts, theology, Broadway plays, Lutheran potluck dinners,.learning, learning & learning. Most of all I am a follower and student of Jesus but respect all forms of spirituality or lack thereof. My passions are my partner, my children & grandchildren, animal rights, social justice, and striving to be a blessing or a moment of grace to all I come in contact with.

I have a 4lb yorkie (Agador Sparticus) & a precious pom (Sanford Eugene Michael) and my loyal friend, my persian cat (Israel Cully Randolph Davenport) & yes I'm one of those gals who dresses my dogs. I know it's silly, but I just can't help it.

Here I go again

My partner Vee came home Nov. 6 2 find me unconscious. I was scheduled 2 go 2 hospital 4 depression & found out I had a stroke. A stroke! THEN I learned I had a defective heart valve THEN was told a pain stimulator that was implanted in my back would have 2 b removed in order to have an MRI done of my brain 2 determine the cause of my stroke. How I look now.

Well, after reading thru old blog & comments I finally decided 2 post my real photo on my twitter & facebook pages. This was a HUGE step 4 me. 2 finally say "This is me, this is what I look like and I am still beautiful, just different.

We are all beautiful and need 2 B proud of who we r. After all we've been thru, we have developed a beauty and inner strength that is rare and so wonderfully lovely.

New & blue but I'll make it through
